To research Suspicious, Book Four in the On the Run series of international mysteries, I visited quaint Bavarian villages and snowy mountain tops. If I have the choice between a mountain and a beach trip, I’ll pick the mountains every time, so I loved every minute of this book research!

I loved the frescos on the homes and. businesses!

We stopped at the open-air restaurant at the top for a snack of German pretzels. They were soft and as big as a dinner plate.

A race was in progress up the mountain. Far down below us, we could see an ant-like trail of people climbing up the mountain. I used the camera to zoom in as they climbed up the rock face. I don’t know about you, but that’s one ladder, I wouldn’t want to climb! :)
