Bath has some steep hills and we climbed a few to get to the Royal Crescent with its view.
The Royal Crescent is a swanky address. :)
The cars take away a bit of the elegance of the image, but still an elegant view.
A real, live “ha ha” (a steep divider to keep animals and even people out of exclusive areas). Kate refrains from photographing the ha ha in the book, but I couldn’t. :)
The view from the top of the Royal Crescent.
The park in the middle of The Circus, the circular terraced homes designed by John Wood.
Jane Austen lived here. I had to stop to take a picture on the steep climb up Gay Street to the Royal Crescent.
Read the book inspired by my research trip to Bath, England: Death in an Elegant City.
