Pinterest has changed the way I write.
I start a pinboard for every book I write now when I’m in the draft stage and pin photos to it for inspiration. There’s a reason I use the word inspiration in there. Browsing through photos really does kickstart my writing, especially on those days when I know I need to write, but keep sorting laundry and checking Twitter instead. :)
As I was writing Secretive, the second book in the On the Run series, I used photos of a trip to Germany to inspire me. Here’s a few:
Since I was writing about snowy Germany from sunny Florida where “cold” means low 50 degrees, these photos helped me get back in the cold zone.
