Years ago I read Mary Stewart’s books and dreamed of traveling to Crete, Corfu, and France.

Elizabeth Peter’s books made me yearn for airline tickets to Rome, Egypt, and Germany, to name a few.

I’ve been able to travel to a few of these places (and write about them, too, in my On The Run books).
But many of the destinations are still on my wish list.
Thank goodness for books that take us away vicariously to new places or help us return to old favorites.
